XLN Audio’s new plugin the RC-20 Retro Color promises to bring warmth to your productions replicating the warm feel of Analog, the RC-20 will be a powerful emulation tool that delivers astonishing results adding life and texture.
There have been tons of plugin’s developed over the years designed to do what the RC-20 is promising, such as Tape simulations from UA (Ampex) and Waves (Abbey Road J37) but given the reputation of XLN Audio, I’m holding out hope that this is going to be something really special!
I’ve kept a watchful eye on XLN Audio ever since I first stumbled across Addictive Drums and way back then I used AD on pretty much everything! so when the RC-20 is released I hope ill be doing that all over again.
The plugin is designed to bring slight imperfections to your project such as the true nature of Analog sound delivering: noise, distortion and bit reduction, through its interface6 diverse modules noise, wobble, distortion, digital, space and magnetic which can also replicate the sound of vinyl and VHS along with an additional array of space, chorus and filtering effects.
Also including 6 diverse modules with options such as noise, wobble, distortion, digital, space and magnetic which can replicate the sound of vinyl and VHS along with an additional array of space, chorus, and filtering effects.
Add further character to your sound with the RC-20’s flux engine which is capable of adding instability and fluctuations resulting in a far more realistic analog feel, the RC-20 will feature presets for drums, keyboards, guitar, and bass.
